Brooklyn, a beautiful senior at Shattuck High School, is on the blog today! Brooklyn was my first 2024 senior and it started off so fun and colorful! She requested a mix of urban and nature so we started off with her senior session at Myraid Gardens in Oklahoma City. This location is versatile providing backdrops of nature in one direction and the backdrops of the city skyline in another. It’s a great starting location since it’s smack dab in the middle of the city.

During Brooklyn’s session, we photographed four different outfits. The first outfit was a flowy white dress that went great with myriad gardens nature style. Outfit 2 was high-waisted jeans with a floral crop top to use against the city vibes. For the next portion of her Oklahoma senior session, we went to the Paseo District in Oklahoma City. The vibes in the Paseo District are unique and a great chance to capture memorable senior portraits.

Outfit number 3 was a jean romper [maybe the cutest one I’ve ever seen!?] which goes great with all the of scenery that paseo district has to offer! Great choice, Brooklyn!

Outfit number 4 was high-waisted jeans with a hot pink crop top that was such a fun choice to go with Wheeler District’s colorful homes!

Each outfit Brooklyn chose brought out her blossoming, fun, vibrant personality all while complimenting the backdrops of the nature and urban views that Oklahoma has to offer.

Pro tip: Plan your outfits out in advance. There is nothing worse than laying them out the night before and realizing something doesn’t fit quite right or doesn’t make you feel confident. Provide yourself the time to try them on and feel stunning in your selections.
